The NOCO Genius Mini On-Board Battery Charger - AC to DC - 2-Bank - 12V - 8 Amp # 329-GENM2 is showing that your batteries are not being recognized by the charger. The alternating Red/Green is standby mode so since you have your batteries connected, they may be depleted lower than the charger can recognize. I reached out to my tech contact who said if they are depleted below 2 volts, you would need to use an alternate charging system to get them to that recognizable 2 volt for this system to then charge the batteries to the 12V prior to use for your trolling motor.
If you don't have another charger you can use jumper cables for a few minutes to your vehicle with your vehicle running to get the batteries to have the necessary minimum voltage. You will of course want to disconnect the charger for your batteries prior to doing this.

Hi,I have a 1 bank Noco Marine charger. It worked fine the first time and i got the green light for my deep cycle marine batteries on a boat.Next time i plugged it in the charger keeps getting the red light and tripping. Almost like a relay doing a click and then it turns off the red light comes and clicks and shuts off again. The weird thing is that it also makes the little led light on my wire outlet go off and on when it clicks. Can anyone help with whats happening here?Thank you98530

I see no reason why it wouldn't charge as the fuse is what completes that circuit. 73211
When I hooked up to electric I got two red indicators. Left to charge for several hours. I never got a green until I unplugged and reconnected to the electric. Then I got 1 green and 1 red. I unplugged again and got 1 red and 1 green (reversed). After checking with amp meter, main battery is showing 13.4 volts (full charged?) I'm not sure what's going on here? Usually get two green after only a couple hours of charging. Batteries are only about 2 years old and lightly used.79139
